How to Get Internet Enhancer for My DSi

Unlike its predecessors, the Nintendo DSi offers an enhanced Internet browser that allows you to surf the Web. Though the DSi typically includes the Internet browser as part of the pre-installed software, it occasionally lacks the Internet browser. To download the software, visit the Nintendo DSi store using your DSi. The DSi functions with open Wi-Fi networks and networks secured with WEP protection. However, it fails to connect to Wi-Fi networks using many other security protocols.

  Reset your Wi-Fi router by pressing the "Reset" button.

  Turn on your DSi. Click on the "Connect Settings" icon. Tap the "Search for an Access Point" button and press "A." Enter the password, if necessary, and press "OK."

  At the main menu, tap the icon for the Nintendo DSi Shop. This icon looks like a shopping bag with handles.

  Tap the "Start Shopping" icon and look through the available programs. Click on the "DSi Web Browser" program. At the next screen, press "Download" then "Yes."

  Revisit the Nintendo DSi store and download any other desired programs.

  Return to the main menu and click on the "Web Browser" icon. Browse the Internet as desired using the enhanced DSi Web Browser.
