What Is the Owl for in Mini Ninjas on DS?

"Mini Ninjas" is an action game for the Nintendo DS in which the player steps into the role of a small Ninja who must make use of his skills and magical spells to defeat the enemy. One of the game's bosses is known as "Screeching Owl" who must be defeated before the player can progress further.

Chapter 5
- Screeching Owl is the final boss of chapter 5. He can be found after freeing the Tengu Mages in the Frost Castle.
Attacks
- Screeching Owl does not have many attacks; his movements consist primarily of flying from perch to perch and shooting projectiles at you.
Defeating the Owl
- To defeat the owl, follow him from whatever perch he lands on and attack him after he lands. His projectiles are blockable, so use your block maneuvers when he launches them. When he lands back on the main platform, you will be able to attack him freely. Repeat this process until he is defeated.
Rewards
- After he is defeated, the owl will turn into a chicken and present you with a Purple Tengu Feather. This feather is used as an ingredient later in the game, to create the Kuji Disruptor Spell.
