How to Make the Spicy Green Curry on The Sims 2: Castaway

When your Sim is marooned on a remote tropical island in "The Sims 2: Castaway" for Nintendo DS, he will need all the help he can get to survive. An island resident, Dr. Feelgood, is willing to give your Sim the final piece of the island map, allowing him to find the hidden pirate ship. However, in exchange, she wants to eat a bowl of spicy green curry. Making the spicy green curry for Dr. Feelgood is one of the final quests of the game and cannot be attempted until the other game quests have been completed.

Instructions

    • 1

Talk to Mrs. Weeder near the garden and trade with her to get a Sugar Cane Seed, Eggplant Seed and Brazil Nut Seed. You will need to trade a Watermelon for the Sugar Cane Seed, a Red Mushroom, Brown Mushroom and White Mushroom to get an Eggplant Seed and a Broken Bottle and Red Camo Shell to get a Brazil Nut Seed. All of these trading items can be found randomly around the island.

    • 2

Tap on a dirt mound with your stylus to plant each of the seeds. Tap on the mounds of dirt to water the seeds. The seeds will take one day in-game to grow.

    • 3

Tap on the Sugar Cane, Eggplant and Brazil Nut Tree when they have grown to harvest these items. You will need two Brazil Nuts, so you must return a second in-game day to harvest an additional nut.

    • 4

Talk to Chef Butcher near the cooking fire and trade him the two Brazil Nuts for the Green Curry Recipe. In addition to Eggplant and Sugar Cane, the recipe requires a Chili Pepper and Knife. You will have already obtained a Knife and grown a Chili Pepper plant at this point. If you do not have a Chili Pepper readily available in your inventory, tap the Chili Pepper plant to harvest one.

    • 5

Tap the cooking fire to cook the Spicy Green Curry. Give the Spicy Green Curry to Dr. Feelgood near camp to complete this quest.
