How to Use the Pokemon Modifier If I Can't Type the Whole Code

Action Replay devices can be essential to expanding your collection of Pokemon, as the peripheral allows you to input a variety of cheat codes for games in the series. One of the most commonly used codes for the device is the wild Pokemon modifier, which allows you to select the Pokemon you would like to face in any wild battle. The modifier is typically a very long code, but it should fit normally into the cheat input box, as long as you are inputting the code via your PC instead of on the Nintendo DS console itself.

  Connect your Action Replay device to your computer via the USB cord that comes with the device.

  Open the "Action Replay Code Manager" software that comes packaged on a CD with the device. The program will automatically detect your connected Action Replay card.

  Right-click in the "My Codelists" panel at the bottom-right of the screen.

  Click "Add new cheat." A small window will appear.

  Give the cheat a name and enter the wild Pokemon modifier code carefully into the cheat input window. The code should fit into the box with several characters to spare.

  Press "OK" to close the window. The changes will automatically be saved and uploaded to your Action Replay card.
