How to Get Rock Smash on Pokemon Soul Silver

"Pokemon SoulSilver" offers you many adventures in the regions of Johto and Kanto. There are 493 different Pokemon that are available in this game. In order to defeat the game's missions, you'll need HM06 -- Rock Smash, which allows you to clear blocked paths, open up new areas, obtain new items and challenge new trainers. You can get HM06 from a hiker on Route 36 near the Ruins of Alph.

Instructions

- 1
  Travel west from the Dark Cave to reach Violet City. Leave Violet City via the southern route, towards Route 32. A girl will try to entice you into following her. Ignore her and take the northern trail towards Route 36.

  Head towards the tollbooth at the end of the northern trail. It's the furthest building to the north, and it is separate from any other landmarks. There's no payment to go through it, so pass through the tollbooth.

  Walk along Route 36 towards the Ruins of Alph. There will be a short, linear path leading to another tollbooth. Don't go through this tollbooth. Instead, look for an overweight man next to a sign post outside the entrance to this tollbooth. Talk to him and you'll receive HM06 -- Rock Smash.
