How to Increase the Farmer's Rank on Harvest Moon DS

"Harvest Moon DS" is a farm-simulation game developed by Marvelous Interactive and published by Natsume for the Nintendo DS. In the game, players must plant and harvest crops, take care of livestock and raise a family on a small farm in Forget Me Not Valley. Points are awarded by performing certain actions and accomplishing specific goals. Players start out as a Learner, the lowest rank possible. By earning points, it is possible to became a Farm Supreme God, the highest rank in "Harvest Moon DS."

Instructions

- 1
  Use the bed, bathroom and trash can inside your house. Each time you interact with these items, you earn a single point. There is no limit to how many points you can earn from these items in a single day.

  Purchase items in the various stores located in town. For every item you purchase, you will earn a single point.

  Use the mayonnaise maker, yarn maker, butter maker and cheese maker in your barn. You will earn one point every time you successfully create mayonnaise, yarn, butter or cheese.

  Participate in animal festivals whenever they become available. If your animal wins the contest, you will earn 100 points. Second and third place finishes in the animal festival earn 50 and 25 points, respectively.

  Give gifts to an available bachelorette to raise her heart level. Each girl is different, so experiment with different gifts to find out what she likes the most. When her heart level is high enough, you will trigger a special heart and earn 50 points.

  Participate in the cooking contest on the 22nd day of Spring. If you impress the judges with your cooking skills, you will earn 100 points.

  Witness the marriage of another villager to earn 250 points. You will be invited to a wedding after playing the game for several seasons.

  Give more gifts to an available bachelorette to raise her heart level. When she reaches the maximum heart level, she will mention marriage. Propose to her by giving her a blue feather. You will earn 500 points on your wedding day.

  Keep your wife happy and she will become pregnant. Talk to her every day and continue to give her gifts. When your child is born, you will earn 100 points.
