How to Get a Lugia Egg

Lugia is a legendary Pokemon that you can capture in nearly every "Pokemon" game in the franchise. Like most legendary Pokemon, Lugia is genderless, making it impossible to breed without using an Action Replay cheating device. By inputting a code into the device, you can breed any legendary Pokemon --- including Lugia --- with any female Pokemon and obtain an egg that contains a baby Pokemon of the legendary species.

  Connect your Action Replay to your computer using the provided USB Cord, and open the Code Manager software that came with the device.

  Enter the Breeder Code into your Action Replay's Code Manager:

  Disconnect your Action Replay from your computer, and remove the cord from your Action Replay.

  Plug your Action Replay into your Nintendo DS, and insert the game into the game slot on the Action Replay. When you turn your Nintendo DS on, the Action Replay menu will appear. From this menu you can turn cheat codes on and off. Any codes entered into the Code Manager will be automatically on. Press the star shaped button on the screen to start the game.

  Go to one of the Pokemon Day Care Centers, the locations of which vary from game to game.

  Speak to the Old Man in the Day Care Center, and he will explain how to breed Pokemon. You will have to leave Lugia and any female Pokemon at the Day Care Center.

  Exit the Day Care Center, take a single step and then press the "R" button. Reenter the Day Care Center to reclaim your breeding Pokemon and pick up your new Lugia egg, which will hatch instantly upon putting it in your inventory.
