How to Get the Silver Trench

Silver Trench is one of the most difficult dungeons in "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team" and its counterpart "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team." The Silver Trench dungeon is 99 floors full of strong Pokemon with Lugia --- one of the most powerful legendary Pokemon --- waiting for you at the end. Before you can enter the dungeon, you must unlock it using a Vortex Stone, which only the three legendary bird Pokemon have the power to create.

Instructions

  Recruit the three legendary bird Pokemon Moltres, Articuno and Zapdos by defeating them at Mount Blaze, Frosty Forest and Mount Thunder after you already have been to each area. Since you will visit all three areas over the course of the game, use your in-game map to head back to them in any order.

  Return to the Pokemon Town Square, where Spinda and Alakazam are located, and speak with both Pokemon, starting with Spinda. Speak with Alakazam, who will suggest going to the Legendary Birds' Friend Area and indicate it on your map.

  Go to the Legendary Birds' Friend Area and speak with them. This triggers an event in which the three Pokemon create the Vortex Stone --- the key to unlocking Silver Trench. Return to Silver Trench and use the Vortex Stone to enter.
