How to Get a Naga in Monster Rancher

"Monster Rancher" is a series of simulation video games developed by Tecmo. The games center around raising and breeding monsters for battle in tournaments. Naga is a humanoid, serpent-like monster with poisonous fangs. Nagas use intelligence-based attacks such as Eye Beam and Energy Shot. You unlock Naga and three other monsters after defeating the S Class Cup. The S Class Cup is the primary tournament in the game and undertaking it is no easy task.

Instructions

  Successfully complete the S Class Cup. The S Class Cup is the most difficult cup in the game. You must defeat C Class Cup and B Class Cup before undertaking the S Class Cup. At the end of the S Class Cup, you see a cut scene with four monsters falling from the sky. The monsters set up a Coliseum in the city.

  Go to the Naga Coliseum during the first week of September. There are two battles in the Naga Coliseum. The first enemy is a Naga-Dragon hybrid, and the second enemy is a pure-bred Naga. Defeat both monsters and Colt, the prisoner, gives you a Naga Scale.

  Go to the combine chamber and select two monsters. Combine them for the best statistic result and ignore the appearance aspect of the combination.

  Select "Use Combination Item" on the next screen. Use the Naga Scale on your monster. Its appearance is changed to a pure-bred Naga. Its main breed and sub-breed are now both "Naga." Confirm your changes and combine your monster. You now have a Naga in your inventory.
