How to Obtain a Munchlax on HeartGold

Munchlax is a Normal-type Pokemon that was first introduced in the fourth generation of Pokemon games, "Pokemon Diamond" and "Pokemon Pearl." In "Pokemon HeartGold," you can obtain a Munchlax through breeding. By attaching a Full Incense to a Snorlax and breeding it with a Snorlax of the opposite sex, you can produce a Munchlax egg. Pokemon breeding occurs at the Daycare Center, just south of Goldenrod City. Breeding is the only way to obtain Munchlax.

     Travel to Goldenrod City and enter the Daycare Center, just south of the city.

     Attach a Full Incense to one of the two Snorlax. Make sure the two Snorlax are not of the same gender. Leave both Pokemon at the Daycare Center. When the egg is ready, the Daycare Center owner will call you back.

     Obtain the egg from the Daycare Center Owner and travel around on your bike until the egg hatches.
