How to Reset the DSi for Guinness World Records

"Guinness World Records: The Video Game" was released by Konami for the Nintendo DSi in 2008. Players compete in various challenges and attempt to break world records. Guinness World Records, like any other video game, is prone to software failure and can freeze at any point while you are playing the game. The only way to fix the game and continue playing as normal is by resetting your Nintendo DSi.

     Locate the Nintendo DSi's power button. This is a small white button on the lower left corner of the bottom half of your device labeled "Power."

     Press the button. Hold it in place for a few seconds.

     Release the button when both Nintendo DSi screens go black. This means the device is off.

     Press the power button again to turn the device back on.
