How to Get the 3 Regis on DSi XL

Many players refer to Registeel, Regice and Regirock as the three Regis. Nintendo first released the three Regis in Pokemon Sapphire, Ruby and Emerald as legendary Pokemon. In order to allow players to complete the National Pokedex in Pokemon Platinum, which can play on the "DSi XL," Nintendo created a method that players can use to obtain the three Regis without using Pal Park. In order to obtain the three Regis in Pokemon Platinum, players must get Regigigas first.

Instructions

  Obtain a Regigigas from one of the following events: 11th Movie Promo or the Toys R Us Event (March 8-21, 2009). You can also obtain a Regigigas by trading with someone who has attended one of these events.

  Trade the Regigigas to Pokemon Platinum. The event Regigigas will cause a special event to activate. Beat the Elite Four and the Pokemon League Champion if you haven't already. Complete the Hoenn Pokedex and talk to Professor Rowan to obtain the National Pokedex.

  Travel to Route 228, where you will find a raging sandstorm. Bring the Regigigas and Pokemon that can defeat wild Pokemon that are around level 50. Go inside the cave on this route. Capture the Regirock at level 30.

  Go to Route 216, which is the exit of Mt. Coronet. Make sure Regigigas is in your party, along with Pokemon that can fare against level 30 Pokemon. Enter the cave on this snow-covered route and capture the level 30 Regice inside.

  Take the boat from Canalave City to Iron Island, which used to be a mine. Go inside the cave entrance that is north of the entrance to the actual mine. Be sure to bring Regigigas with you. Battle and catch the Registeel inside (level 30).
