How to Catch Dialga in Pokemon Ranger 2

Dialga, the Temporal Pokemon, is a special Steel and Dragon-type creature found only in "Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia" after certain conditions have been met. Dialga must be downloaded after a secret mission that was created just so players could find the blue behemoth. The most difficult part of the mission is capturing Dialga due to its savage attacks and ability to manipulate time to its advantage.

  Complete the main storyline.

  Connect the game to the Nintendo Wi-Fi service to download the "Dialga in Hia Valley!?" special mission. From the main menu, choose the Ranger Net option and scan for the Dialga mission.

  Select the mission to download it to the Nintendo DS. Enter the "Play a Downloaded Mission"option while logged into the Ranger Net to play the mission.

  Talk to the nearby Pokemon Trainer with the Staraptor. You will then fly to the front of Almia Castle to find Dialga.

  Solve the castle's puzzles as you make your way to the main room of Almia Castle. You will need a Mismagius with the "Psycho Power" move to open certain doors, a Vulpix to light torches with its fire-based attacks, and either a Ninetails or Houndoom to melt ice.

  Confront Dialga in the main room. Draw unbroken circles around him while avoiding his attacks. If Dialga is not captured within 90 seconds, Dialga will send you back in time.
