How Do I Trade Pokemon Online on Vizzed Board?

Pokemon games on the Nintendo DS allow you to trade Pokemon over the system's Wi-Fi connection. The series has always allowed trading, but you were limited to players in you immediate area. The Nintendo DS Wi-Fi connection allows you to connect with users all over the world and trade Pokemon. One of the best places to meet up with other players is on message boards, such as Vizzed Board.

Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Heart Gold, Soul Silver, Black or White

  Start your Pokemon game.

  Choose "Nintendo WFC Settings" at the main menu.

  Select "Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Settings."

  Set up your Wi-Fi connection. Specific setup will depend on your modem type of router.

  Start the game and go to a Pokemon Center.

  Go to the basement for the "Wi-Fi Club."

  Talk to the person behind the desk to receive your "Friend Code."

  Go to the "Pokemon" section of "Vizzed Board" and find the trading topic. Talk with other members and when you find a Pokemon you want to trade for, give the other member your "Friend Code" and get their "Friend Code."

  Go back to the game and talk to the person at the desk to register the other member's "Friend Code." Once it is entered, talk to the person behind the counter again to initiate the trade. Choose the Pokemon you wish to trade and confirm the Pokemon you are trading for by pressing the "A" button. Once confirmed, the trade will initiate and you will have you new Pokemon.
