How to Get Bulbasaur with the Pokemon Explorers of Sky Personality Test

In the Nintendo DS roleplaying game "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky," players are able to choose either a male or female Pokemon as their lead character. The type of Pokemon is determined at the start of the game through a quiz that tells players their perceived personality type based on their answers. To play as the Grass-type Pokemon Bulbasaur, players must have a "lonely" personality (if male) or a "docile" personality (if female). To get Bulbasaur, answer the quiz questions with answers that most resemble a lonely personality to get a male Bulbasaur, and a docile personality to get a female Bulbasaur. At the end of the test, the personality type will display with the Pokemon you get.

Instructions

  Start the game, then tap "New Game" on the main menu of the game to start. Read through the story text displayed until the quiz questions come up.

  Select "No" when asked if you played any of the previous "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon" games. This will decrease the chances of your getting any of the newer Pokemon, which is good: Bulbasaur is one of the older, original Pokemon.

  Answer all the questions with the most "docile" answer possible if you want to play as a female Bulbasaur. An example of a docile answer is "Yes" to "Do you have good study habits?" or "Get Embarrassed" to the statement "You take off your shoes and realize your socks are different colors."

  Answer all the questions with the "loneliest" answer if you prefer playing as a male Bulbasaur. An example of a lonely answer is "I can't really do it alone" to "What's your studying style?" or "Answer right away" to the statement "The phone's ringing!"   Select the sex of Pokemon to match your answers: female if your answers were docile, or male if they were lonely.

  Put your fingers on the touch screen of the DS while the game calculates your aura. You will be told your personality type is "lonely" or "docile" and will be given a Bulbasaur as your starting Pokemon.
