Travel to Goldenrod and enter the game corner situated directly above the Pokemon Centre. Start the mini-game and you will be presented with a square board containing twenty five panels. Hidden underneath each panel is either a one, two, three or Voltorb.
Tap the panel you want to flip over with your stylus. This reveals what is underneath it. The idea is to try and flip over all the panels that have twos and threes, while avoiding the Voltorb panels. Flipping over a Voltorb panel causes it to explode and you lose all your points. Flipping over a panel with a one is no use either, as the values indicate by how much your score is multiplied; multiplication by one won't get you anywhere.
Press the "X" button to open the "Memo" feature, which allows you to mark a panel with what you think is underneath it. This allows you to keep track of the panels and avoid accidentally flipping over a Voltorb. Look at the clue panels to the bottom and right of the screen for clues on what might be underneath the panels. The number next to the Voltorb picture indicates how many Voltorbs there are in a row, while the number above it indicates what the combined value for all the panels in the row is.
Keep uncovering panels that hold twos or threes to win coins and go up in levels. By using the clue panels you should have a good idea which panels are more likely to have twos and threes (they will be the rows that far exceed the value of five when you combine the amount of Voltorb's with the total score of the row.) Once you have uncovered all the twos and threes on a board, you advance to the next level of the game and do it all over again.
