How to Watch a Movie on Moonshell

Moonshell is a program for the DS Lite that allows users to watch DPG movies on their DS with the use of a flash cartridge. A flash cartridge is a device that looks like a Nintendo DS game cartridge, but it has a slot for a microSD card in the back. If you load the movie onto the microSD card, you can then watch it on your DS with no problems.

Things You'll Need

MicroSD card
USB card reader
Flash cartridge

Instructions

  Place the microSD card into the USB card reader and plug the card reader into a USB port on your computer. Create a new folder in your MicroSD card called "Movies." Drag and drop any DPG movie files into the "Movies" folder on your card. Remove the card from your computer.

  Place the microSD card into the flash cartridge and push the flash cartridge into the DS.

  Turn your DS on. Select "Movies" from the file menu and click "A" to select the movie you want to watch on Moonshell. Press "A" to play the movie file. Press "B" to go back to the main menu. Press "X" and "Y" to adjust the volume. Press "L and R" to pause the movie.
