How to Breed Munchlax

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl

  Trade with somebody that already has a female Snorlax, otherwise migrate one into your game from any of the previous Pokemon games such as "Sapphire," "Ruby," "LeafGreen" or "FireRed." After migrating a Snorlax, you can catch it in the Pal Park situated along Route 221.

  Travel to Route 218 and walk around in the tall grass until you encounter a "Ditto." Battle it until its health is low and capture it with a Pokeball. Put the Ditto in your party along with the Snorlax.

  Travel to Veilstone City near Route 214 and use "Rock Climb" on the wall where you meet the Gym Leader. You will find a pokeball containing the item "Full Incense."

  Press "Start" and then select "Pokemon" from the menu. Select Snorlax and select "Item" and "Give." Pick the "Full Incense" from the list. With your Snorlax holding the Full Incense, it is now ready to breed a Munchlax.

  Travel to the daycare center near Solacean Town and hand in the Snorlax and Ditto. Walk around until you see the old man standing outside the center. Speak to him to receive an egg that will hatch into a Munchlax.

Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver

  Travel to Vermillion City and battle the Snorlax blocking Route 11. The music from the Pokeflute channel must be playing in order for it to wake up. Capture it with a pokeball when its health is flashing red.

  Travel to Routes 34, 35 or 47 and walk around in tall grass until you encounter a Ditto. Battle it and capture it with a pokeball.

  Travel to Ecruteak City then take the Route 42 path to Mt Mortar. Pick up the "Full Incense" item and give it to your Snorlax to hold.

  Travel to Route 34 and drop off Snorlax and Ditto at the daycare center. Walk around and speak to the old man again to get your egg. Put the egg in your party and when it hatches you will get your Munchlax.
