How to Catch Palkia in Pokemon Diamond

Palkia is one of the legendary Pokemon introduced in the fourth generation of Pokemon games, "Pokemon Diamond," "Pokemon Pearl" and "Pokemon Platinum." Unfortunately, Palkia cannot be caught normally in "Pokemon Diamond" as it is version-exclusive to "Pokemon Pearl." You can, however, use an Action Replay and input a cheat that will allow you to catch Palkia in the wild in your version of "Pokemon Diamond." This will allow you to complete your Pokedex.

Instructions

  Connect the "Pokemon Diamond" cartridge to your Action Replay and connect your Action Replay to your Nintendo DS.

  Turn the Nintendo DS on and input the single following code:

  Press "Start" to start the game. Select your save file.

  Walk around in the grass until you encounter a Palkia. Use a Pokeball to capture it. If you travel to the patches of grass near Twinleaf Town, the starting area for "Pokemon Diamond," Palkia will be at a lower level than if you travel to other areas.
