How to Get Past the Underground Tunnel on Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story

Save your progress at the Save Point nearby, then proceed right into the tunnels.

Breathe fire and light the bomb near the right wall, then walk through the ensuing hole and fall down several levels. Breathe fire on the next bomb and walk through the hole to the left.

Fight the ChuBoomba -- or use the Vacuum move to suck up its lollipop and cause it to flee -- to obtain a cat, then break the item blocks and collect the spoils. Head through the exit in the lower right once you've finished.

Break the item block to gain some coins, then hit the red button to cause a bomb to fall. Light the bomb on fire and punch it across the room. It will explode and reveal an entrance.

Repeat the button-bomb-fire two more times to reveal two more entrances. Wait about a second after lighting the third bomb before punching, as you need to get it right in front of the crack before it explodes.

Enter the left opening and break the item blocks in the room, then go back out into the previous room.

Go into the right entrance and break more item blocks, then return to the previous room and take the middle entrance this time.

Break the item block here, then break the gray stone blocks with sliding punches. Blow up the bomb to gain access to the warp pipe. This pipe will take you back to the entrance of the tunnel so you can save. Do so, then return to this room .

Walk up the ramp and slide-punch across the platforms. Walk out the exit in the upper right to get a cutscene. After the cutscene, you will return to controlling the Mario brothers.
