How to Hatch the Phione Egg in Pokemon Pearl

Phione is a rare and powerful Pokémon that results from breeding a Manaphy and Ditto. In order to use Phione in your battle party to combat other Pokémon, you will first need to hatch his egg. Once hatched, you will have access to Phione's water-type abilities, such as Hydration and Rain Dance. Hatching a Phione is a simple task, but will require a bit of patience.

     Place the Phione egg in your battle party.

     Run around the Sinnoh area. Pokémon eggs hatch by being in your party while you walk around.

     Walk 10,240 steps. This will take several hours. When you have walked far enough, Phione's egg will hatch.

     Add Phione to your battle party once he hatches to increase his level and teach him new abilities.
