How Can I Catch Absol in Pokemon SoulSliver?

Absol, the Disaster Pokemon, can be found in many locations if the player knows how to lure it out of its hiding places in "Pokemon SoulSilver." These Dark-type Pokemon are known for their ability to predict natural disasters in the wild, such as earthquakes and tsunamis. It is a creature with an exceptionally high attack stat, and it learns vicious moves like "Night Slash" and "Psycho Cut." Most players don't realize that Absol are all around them, but there is a special technique used to lure them to you.

Instructions

  Get the National Pokedex after you have defeated the Elite Four. This allows you to locate Pokemon that are not normally found in the regions of "Pokemon SoulSilver."

  Start "Pokemon SoulSilver" on a Wednesday. The time of day is not important, but Absol can only be obtained in the wild when the game is set to Wednesday.

  Walk through one of the numerous areas where wild Absol hide. Some of these locations include Slowpoke Well, Mt. Mortar and Ice Path.

  Open your Pokegear's Radio function and switch the channel to the Pokemon Music Channel. The music that plays in the wild on Wednesdays is the Hoenn Sound. Players have a 20-percent chance of encountering an Absol if they explore these areas while the Hoenn Sound music is playing.
