How to Share a Wonder Card in Pokemon

In some Pokemon video games Wonder Cards can be traded between players along with Mystery Gifts. Introduced in Pokemon versions Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, Wonder Cards are distributed with Mystery Gifts and usually explain the gift that the player has just received. In Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold and SoulSilver, a player can only hold three Wonder Cards per saved game. In Pokemon Black and White, the number of cards has been increased to 12, but the option to share cards has been removed. Players who hold the maximum number of cards when receiving a new gift will not receive a new card, but can delete old cards before receiving a gift.

  Activate the Mystery Gift function. In Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, go to the second floor of the Jubilife TV Center in Jubilife City, Sinnoh. There iw a man there who accepts sayings from you. Tell him the following: "EVERYONE HAPPY" and "WI-FI CONNECTION." This will activate the Mystery Gift function. In HeartGold and SoulSilver the Mystery Gift function is available after you receive the Pokedex.

  Connect to another Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold or SoulSilver player. Nintendo DS players can connect to each other using the built-in wireless option.

  Select the "Check Card" option on the Mystery Gift menu. This will display all the available cards. Select a card to view if it can be sent to a friend. Not all cards can be sent. Some cards can only be sent a certain number of times. Select the card you wish to send and select "Send."

  Have the second player open the Mystery Gift page from the Main Menu. Select "Get from Friend" to receive the Mystery Gift and Wonder Card.
