When you try to enter Mahogany Town in "Pokemon SoulSilver," you will encounter a belligerent man who will not let you pass. In addition to demanding that you see the local sights and explore your surroundings, this man will sell you the Rage Candy Bar item, which is spelled "RageCandyBar" in the game. While this item healed injured Pokemon in earlier versions of the "Pokemon" games, the Rage Candy Bar has an altogether different purpose in "Pokemon SoulSilver."

Travel to the Underground Path, which runs underneath Saffron City between Routes 5 and 6.

Speak with the man living in the tunnel. He will offer to teach your Pokemon a new ability in exchange for the Rage Candy Bar.
