How to Turn Tree Branches Into Wood in Rune Factory

In 2007, the Nintendo DS game "Rune Factory" became the first game in the farming simulation series "Harvest Moon" to feature a fantasy setting. Like many "Harvest Moon" games, you chop trees in "Rune Factory," to clear your farmland. You can also venture around the land to chop trees. Chopped trees result in wood that you can use to make crafts and to upgrade your home. Tree branches are easier to turn into wood than tree stumps; However, branches result in only one piece of wood, whereas stumps result in three.

     Speak to Bianca. Bianca lives in Jasper's Mansion. She will ask her servant Tabitha to give you the axe. The axe you receive is the "cheap axe."

     Stand in front of a tree branch. Tree branches are smaller and thinner than tree stumps.

     Equip the axe. Select "Start" and locate the axe in your inventory. Select the "axe" to equip it.

     Push "B" to chop the branch. The wood will automatically appear in your farm's shed.
