How to Have Two Keyblades in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days for DSI

Dual-wielding keyblades (having one keyblade in each hand) has been a mainstay of the Kingdom Hearts series since "Kingdom Hearts 2." Using two keyblades at once spices up the game's combat and is useful for taking down tougher enemies. If you wish to use two keyblades at once in "Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days," there are a few things you must do first.

Instructions

    • 1

Play through the entire "Story" mode of "Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days."

    • 2

Purchase the "Zero Gear" from the Moogle Shop after completing "Story" mode. Zero Gear is an item that can hold up to three ability units and can be used in both "Mission" and "Story" mode.

    • 3

Start "Mission" mode and equip the Zero Gear onto Roxas. You will need to equip three ability units onto the Zero Gear in order to dual-wield keyblades. After you have done that, Roxas will be dual-wielding the Oathkeeper and Oblivion keyblades. Roxas is the only character who can wield two keyblades. In "Story" mode, Zero Gear will not let you dual-wield -- it will only give you the three abilities you equipped onto it.
