How to Unlock the 7 Sky Stairway in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2

Sky Stairway is a secret location found in both "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness" and "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time." Players who find their way to this hidden location will have the opportunity to battle Rayquaza at its summit and ask him to join their party once he has been defeated. You cannot access the Sky Stairway during the normal course of either game's storyline.

Instructions

- 1
  Complete the primary story of "Explorers of Time" or "Explorers of Darkness." You must be finished with the main story to gain access to Sky Stairway.

  Graduate from Wigglytuff's Guild. You cannot graduate until the main story is complete.

  Complete two optional jobs or missions, then speak with Mr. Mime outside of the Kecleon Shop. This will give you access to Blizzard Island.

  Complete the challenges on Blizzard Island to unlock Crevice Cave.

  Travel to Crevice Cave and defeat the monsters it contains. After battling the boss of this dungeon, you will free Scizor, who will join your party and upgrade your rank to "Secret."
- 6
  Complete Wonder Mail missions. Each mission has a random chance of providing you with a code that unlocks one of the "Seven Treasures" quests. The seventh treasure quest will lead you to Sky Stairway.
