How to Catch Anything Without Breaking Free in Pokemon SoulSilver

"Pokemon: SoulSilver" is a role-playing game that is a part of the "Pokemon" series. Players take control of a nameless trainer that must travel the world to capture and train various types of Pokemon while doing battle against other trainers. Wild Pokemon are located throughout the game and can be captured to add to your list of creatures. You must battle the wild Pokemon until it is weak enough to restrain using a Pokeball. Once captured you will now be able to use it in any of your battles.

     Begin a "Pokemon: SoulSilver" game.

     Travel to Route 229 at the beginning of the game.

     Speak to Ethan or Lyra to learn how to capture Pokemon.

     Travel through the game until you encounter a wild Pokemon that you want to capture.

   • 5

     Battle this Pokemon and deplete its health bar but do not defeat the Pokemon.

   • 6

     Select the "capture" option in the menu.

   • 7

     Select a Pokeball to use against the wild Pokemon. If the Pokemon's energy is low enough it will stay inside the Pokeball and not escape.
