How to Get Card Stars on Pokemon Silver

Your Trainer Card is red and starless at the start of your adventure in "Pokemon Soulsilver," but new stars and colors are earned by achieving challenges. The goals required to unlock stars are lofty and will take many hours to complete. The task of earning Trainer Card stars might be tedious for some players, but others will stand tall over their Pokemon training peers with a black Trainer Card with five stars to proudly display as evidence of their efforts.

Instructions

  Find every Pokemon in the world of "Pokemon SoulSilver" to earn a star for your Trainer Card. You will need to locate all 484 Pokemon to finish the Pokedex. This excludes monsters that are only obtainable through Nintendo distribution events, such as Deoxys, Jirachi and Mamaphy.

  Finish a 100 battle winning streak in the Battle Tower area. Battle Tower is located due north of the Battle Frontier. Battle Tower pits the players' three chosen level 50 Pokemon against 100 teams of Pokemon trainers and their trios of monsters.

  Walk through grassy areas and talk to your Pokemon to randomly find Shiny Leaves. The spots where you can find a Shiny Leaf depend on the nature of your Pokemon. For example, a Bold-natured Pokemon is more likely to find a Shiny Leaf on Route 24. Locate five Shiny Leaves and talk to Lyra or Ethan in New Bark Town and they will add a star to your Trainer Card.

  Beat the eight Pokemon Gym Leaders and the Elite Four to earn a star for your Trainer Card.

  Break all of the records for the 10 Pokeathlon minigames to get a star. The 10 games are Hurdle Dash, Lamp Jump, Snow Throw, Ring Drop, Relay Run, Block Smash, Pennant Capture, Goal Roll, Disc Catch and Circle Push. The Pokeathlon Dome houses the events. The Dome is situated west from the National Park.
