How Do I Unlock the Jubilife TV Station in Pokemon Platinum?

The Jubilife TV Station broadcasts various Pokemon programs across the Sinnoh region, offers stations to dress up your Pokemon and hosts the daily lottery where you can win prizes by matching numbers. When you first enter Jubilife City in "Pokemon Platinum," the entrance to the Jubilife TV Station is blocked by a clown. To gain access to the Jubilife TV station, you must obtain the Coal Badge from the Oreburgh City gym leader, Roark, and defeat two Team Galactic grunts to the north of Jubilife City.

  Travel to Oreburgh City.

  Speak to your rival in front of the Oreburgh Gym. He will tell you to go to the Oreburgh Mine to find the gym leader and challenge him to a battle.

  Walk to the southernmost part of the city and enter the Oreburgh Mine. Continue heading deeper into the mine until you see the Oreburgh gym leader, Roark, standing beside a cracked rock. Speak to Roark and he will return to the gym.

  Exit the Oreburgh Mine and head back to the Oreburgh City gym. Challenge and defeat Roark to obtain a Coal Badge. Roark uses three Rock-type Pokemon that are weak to water and grass-type moves.

  Travel west from Oreburgh City through the Oreburgh Gate to reach Jubilife City.

  Head to the northern entrance of Jubilife City to encounter two Team Galactic grunts. Defeat them in a 2v2 battle alongside Professor Rowan's assistant. Both grunts will have one Pokemon each at Level 11.

  Enter the Jubilife TV station in the western part of the city, now that the clown is no longer blocking the entrance.
