How to Get Snorlax Awake in SoulSilver

"Pokemon SoulSilver" is a role-playing game for the Nintendo DS, centered around capturing and fighting with creatures called Pokemon. As you progress through the game, you reach an area called Route 11, one of many roads that connect cities together. On this road you run into a Snorlax, a giant sleeping Pokemon, which blocks the path to go further. Several tasks must be completed before you can wake Snorlax and get him out of the way.

Instructions

- 1
  Play through the game until you reach Lavender Town, located directly east of Saffron City. Talk to the citizens in town. You learn the Kanto Radio Tower is out of commission. Travel to the Power Plant to help get the station up and running.

  Walk east from Lavender Town through Route 8. Travel through Saffron City and leave the north entrance to reach Route 5. Walk north until you reach Cerulean City. Leave the east side of the city to reach Route 9. Make your way east until you hit the waterside. Go south and leave the area. Use the "Surf" ability and sail down the river until you reach the Power Plant.

  Speak to the man in suspenders to learn the problem with the plant. A part of the generator is missing and needs to be replaced. Leave the plant and travel back to Cerulean City.

  Go into the Cerulean gym. Follow the Team Rocket member to the bridge on Route 24. Defeat him and return to the gym in Cerulean City. Check the innertubes by the pool to find the part. Return to the Power Plant and speak to the director.

  Return to the radio tower in Lavender City. Speak to the man in the suit to turn the radio stations back on. Return to the sleeping Snorlax at Route 11. Open your Pokegear and tune into the Pokeflute station. Snorlax will wake up. Defeat him or catch him to pass by.
