How to Delete Saved Files in Pokemon SoulSilver

"Pokemon SoulSilver" allows you to save your game and continue it later with all of your Pokemon, items and experience intact. You can only store one saved game on your "Pokemon SoulSilver" game card, and if you want to start and save a new game, you must first delete the existing save file. When you delete the save file from your game card, you will permanently lose all of the Pokemon and items stored in that save file.

Instructions

  Start "Pokemon SoulSilver" and advance to the title screen.

  Press "Up" on the directional control pad, the "Select" button and the "B" button at the same time. Your top screen will display a prompt that asks, "Delete all saved data?"

  Press "Up" and then press the "A" button to select "Yes." The game will warn you that deleting your save file is permanent and also deletes data registered on your PokeWalker accessory.

  Press "Up" and then press the "A" button to select "Yes" again. Your save file will be deleted from your game card.
