How to Get the Sapphire Orb in Pokemon Soul Silver

The Blue and Red Orbs are key items in "Pokemon HeartGold" and "Pokemon SoulSilver," respectively. These orbs summon the legendary Pokemon Kyogre and Groudon to the Embedded Tower and cannot be traded between games. You need both Pokemon to get the Jade Orb, which summons Rayquaza to the Embedded Tower, from Professor Oak, but you do not need both orbs. Once you have gotten both orbs and captured both Pokemon in each game, you can trade one of the Legendary Pokemon to your other game to get the Jade Orb.

Instructions

  Play through the game until you have collected all 16 Gym Badges and seen all of the Pokemon in the game to record them into your Pokedex. Once you've met these requirements, go back to New Bark Town to see Professor Elm. He gives you the SS Ticket.

  Travel to Olivine City and head to the docks. Follow the linear path through the docks to the ship. You will meet Professor Oak and he will give you the National Pokedex. Continue along the path to the ship and use your ticket to travel to the Kanto region.

  Go to Pallet Town once you are in the Kanto region and go to Professor Oak's lab. He gives you a Kanto starter Pokemon. Leave his house and fly back to Cherrywood in the Johto region.

  Go into the center of town, then take the eastern path to Mr. Pokemon's house. This is where you got the Johto Pokedex from Professor Oak at the beginning of the game. Speak with Mr. Pokemon to get the Red Orb if you are playing "Pokemon SoulSilver" or the Blue Orb if you are playing "Pokemon HeartGold."
