Camoa Cup
The Camoa Cup is a tournament consisting of three rounds of six versus six battles. The rules for the tournament outlaw the use of any ability that uses magic points (MP). This restriction is not enforced for your opponents. These fights are not unusually difficult beyond the MP restriction. Players that are heavily reliant on using spells may find this more difficult, but otherwise these are basic fights. The prize for winning the Camoa Cup is the Gigas Pendant, one of the items required to recruit Montblanc.
Fluorgis Cup
The Fluorgis Cup is a one versus one tournament made up of three rounds. The rules for each round change. In the first round you cannot use any buff abilities. The rule of the second round prevents the use of any fire, lightning or ice attacks. This includes using weapons that do fire, lightning or ice damage. The third round prevents the use of reaction abilities. You earn the Pin of Order after winning this tournament.
The Last Step
The Last Step is simply a trading mission. You receive the Earrings of the Dead by trading Mack the Ocktor Tome of Medicine, which you must acquire before this mission is available. This mission is not available until The First Step, The Next Step and A Step Further are completed. A Step Further is the only mission of the three that has an actual battle. A Step Further requires fighting a group of mages. Taking out the Time Mage and Black Mage early in the fight makes this mission easy to complete.
Wanted: Friends, Kupo!
The mission, Wanted: Friends, Kupo!, becomes available after acquiring the Gigas Pendant, Pin of Order and Earring of the Dead. This is the mission where you actually recruit Montblanc. The ability to get this mission guarantees you to complete it successfully. Once you go to Baptiste Hill, you are only required to accept Montblanc's offer to join your party.
