How to Unlock the Underground Path in SoulSilver

"Pokemon: SoulSilver" is part of the serialized "Pokemon" universe. The series features dozens of games, and many of the same locations are featured from title to title. The Underground Path is a labyrinthine network of tunnels connecting the cities of Kanto. In previous titles, the player had to use these tunnels to get past barricades. In "SoulSilver" they're unessential and in several places unimplemented, though locked doors still hint at their presence. The only way to enter the tunnels is from Route 5, and even then, you'll only get access to the stretch between Cerulean and Vermilion.

     Travel to Route 5. It's south of Cerulean City and north of Saffron City.

     Head to the southeast corner of the map. There, you'll find a building with a sloping roof. This is the entrance to the Underground Path.

     Face the door to the building and push "A" to open it. Head inside to explore the path. There isn't much to do down there.
