How to Stock Pokemon in SoulSilver Pal Park

In "Pokemon: SoulSilver" the Pal Park exists within Fuschia City. The player stocks Pal Park with Pokemon from previous Game Boy Advance Pokemon games, such as "Emerald," "Ruby" and "Sapphire." Pokemon transferred from those games to "SoulSilver" cannot be transferred back. The types of Pokemon you transfer to "SoulSilver," and how quickly you capture them from Pal Park, can earn you points and prizes.

Instructions

    • 1

Insert a Game Boy Advance "Pokemon" game into the Game Boy Advance slot of the Nintendo DS. Insert "SoulSilver" into the DS slot, on the bottom of the Nintendo DS system. Turn on the DS system. From the main menu, select "Migrate from..."

    • 2

Select the Pokemon you wish to migrate from your Game Boy Advance game to "SoulSilver." You can select up to six at once. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 to transfer as many Pokemon as desired.

    • 3

Travel to Pal Park in "SoulSilver." There are five areas of the Pal Park: field, pond, forest, mountain and ocean. You will need a Pokemon with the ability "Surf" to find Pokemon in the ocean area. Some of the Pokemon you transfer will only appear in specific areas. Pichu, for example, will only appear in the "Field" area.

    • 4

Roam throughout the park for random encounters. You are given "Park Balls," which will immediately capture any Pokemon on which they are used. You do not have to weaken the Pokemon first to use a Park Ball.
