How to Pass Pokemon Diamond

Beating "Pokemon Diamond" is accomplished by defeating the Elite 4 and the Champion. These are the last five trainers in the game and can only be reached after defeating all of the other gym leaders in the game. They are extremely difficult to defeat and require you to have exceptional Pokemon of different types to conquer their challenge. Once you have defeated them, you will also need to complete your Pokedex to finish the game.

Instructions

    • 1

Stock your party with the six best Pokemon you have. Make sure that no more than two of them have the same type because the Elite four are full of every type at high levels. Have several power-up and health refills available because you will not be able to rest once the battles start. You will have to fight all five trainers consecutively. Make your way to Victory Road and save the game before you enter the Gym to face your opponents.

    • 2

Initiate a battle with the first of the Elite 4 trainers, Aaron. He has the following Pokemon; Dustox, Heracross, Vespiquen, Beautifly and Drapion. These Pokemon are easily defeated by a strong Fire-type Pokemon. Staraptor is the perfect Pokemon to use against this lineup. Once you have defeated Aaron, the next battle will immediately start.

    • 3

Battle trainer number two, Bertha. She has a lineup that includes Quagsire, Hippowdon, Whiscast and Golem. Her entire Pokemon collection is weak against Grass-type attacks. Using Roserade is the way to go. This is the easiest of the Elite 4 battles.

    • 4

Battle the third trainer, Flint. His Pokemon; Rapidash, Infernape, Lopunny, Steelix are all weak against Water-based attacks. The last Pokemon he has, Drifblim, is weak against Ice attacks. The Pokemon of choice in this battle is Floatzel.

    • 5

Fight Lucian next. Your best bet here is to have a strong Dark-type Pokemon with ghost moves. Lucian has Mr. Mime, Girafarig, Alakazam, Medicham and Bronzong, a Steel- and Psychic-type. The first four can be defeated with a combination of dark and ghost attacks while the Bronzong will need to be handled with a Fire-type Pokemon. Drapion does extremely well in this situation.

    • 6

Battle the Champion, Cynthia. She starts with Spiritomb and then moves on to Garchomp, Gastrodon, Milotic, Roserade and finally Lucario. Use Snorlax, Staraptor, Torterra, Roserade, Empoleon and Infernape to defeat her lineup and make yourself the new champion.

    • 7

Obtain the National Pokédex after defeating the champion and complete your quest by filling out the entire National Pokédex; include the five legendary Pokemon: Arceus, Darkrai, Shaymin, Manaphy and Phione.
