Run iTunes, click "Edit" on the top, left corner and choose "Preferences" from the drop-down menu. A new window opens.
Click "General" at the top, left corner of the new window and click the "Import Settings" button near the bottom. Another window pops up.
Click the "Import Using" drop-down box and click "AAC Encoder." Click "OK" twice to save the settings.
Click "Music" beneath "Library" on the left side of iTunes. Your iTunes music displays.
Hold "Ctrl" and click each song you wish to load to your DSi. Release "Ctrl" when you have selected all desired songs.
Click "Advanced" and click "Create AAC Version." A new AAC version of the song copies.
Insert your SD card into your computer, click the Start icon and click inside the Search box.
Type "AAC" with quotations. A results list appears with AAC music files.
Click the "See More Results" option. A full list of your AAC files appears.
Press "Ctrl" and "A" simultaneously to select all the songs, right-click a song and click "Copy." All the songs copy.
Click the Start icon and select "Computer."
Double-click your SD card's drive listed beneath "Devices With Removable Storage." A list of the SD card's contents appears.
Right-click an empty area in the SD card's contents area and click "Paste." The songs copy to your SD card.
Right-click the SD card's listing in the left column and click "Eject." Remove the SD card from your computer.
Insert the SD card into your Nintendo DSi and turn it on.
Touch the speaker icon from the DSi's main menu and choose "Play with your music" option.
Locate and tap the song you wish to play.
