How to Easily Get Ditto in Pokemon Diamond

Ditto is an unusual, genderless Pokemon which can mimic the moves of any other Pokemon and breed with any egg type in the Nintendo DS video game "Pokemon Diamond." It resembles a grey blob. There is only one way to encounter and catch a Ditto in the wild in "Pokemon Diamond," which is to use the PokeRadar to find it on Route 218. This is only possible after you have completed most of the game by defeating the Pokemon League and filling the National Pokedex.

  Complete the National Pokedex by cataloging all of the Pokemon in the Sinnoh region.

  Go visit Professor Oak at the Pal Park on Route 221 in the south-west of Sinnoh. He will give you the PokeRadar application for your Poketch.

  Head north to Jubilife City then go west onto Route 218.

  Walk into the tall grass on Route 218 without your bike and select the PokeRadar app.

  Use the PokeRadar App and some grass will start shaking. Go into the patches of shaking grass to find a wild Pokemon. You will only encounter a Ditto in one of these patches 12 percent of the time, so it may take a few tries.
