How to Catch Cyndaquil in Pokemon Platinum

Cyndaquil is the Fire-type starting Pokemon first introduced in "Pokemon Gold" and "Pokemon Silver." Cyndaquil can only appear on "Pokemon Platinum"after you capture one on a copy of one of the Game Boy Advance Pokemon games. You will need to use the Pal Park in "Pokemon Platinum" to transfer Cyndaquil to "Pokemon Platinum." The Pal Park allows you to transfer Pokemon from the Game Boy Advance games.

Instructions

  Place the Game Boy Advance Pokemon cartridge containing Cyndaquil in the Game Boy Advance slot of the Nintendo DS.

  Travel to Pal Park on Route 221 and talk to the attendant in the corner.

  Select Cyndaquil and five other Pokemon you wish to transfer from the Game Boy Advance cartridge to the Nintendo DS. You cannot select any less than six Pokemon.

  Walk around the designated areas in the mini-game. Throw Pokeballs at the six Pokemon, including Cyndaquil, to catch them. Cyndaquil will be in the field area.
