How Do I Play As Starscream in Decepticons?

The Nintendo DS Transformers game came out in two installments, Autobots and Decepticons, based on the two rivaling robotic factions featured in the "Transformers" cartoons and films. Players can create their own Transformer, however, throughout the game, you get the option to play as other robots from the films. Starscream, the Decepticons' second in command, is one such character, who transforms into a jet fighter to explore the virtual Transformers world. To unlock Starscream, you must earn 2,500 Wi-Fi tokens, download the game trailer or complete the game.

  Play "Allspark Wars" enough to earn 2,500 Wi-Fi tokens. "Allspark Wars" is the online competitive portion of "Transformers: Decepticons," whereby you complete a series of challenge missions for your chosen faction with the aim of gaining a portion of the vital Allspark. Download the day's new mission from the server, and play through to gain points. The amount of points you earn is dependent on the particular day, but they are awarded for completing missions, winning the challenge and collecting the seven pieces of the Allspark.

  Download the Transformers: DS trailer from the Target stores' website. Starscream is a playable character on the demo, and this is the easiest method to play as the character. Visit the Target stores' website using your DS, and search through the available demos for the correct trailer. This option is only available to players in North America.

  Complete the "Final Showdown" level to finish the game. This allows you to play as Starscream, and most players will eventually achieve this through ordinary game play. Defeat Starscream to complete the last mission. Avoid his missile attacks by hiding behind the large cube statue. Hit him in the back four times with a melee attack and he will drop the Allspark. This appears prominently on the game's radar (as a bright red triangle); ensure you know the location of it. Starscream will approach the Allspark. Pick it up and attack him with it to make him flee. Chase after him using Megatron's Nitro Boost and attack him with your heavy blasters to defeat him.

  Use an "Action Replay" cheat code to unlock Starscream with minimal effort. For North American players, type in this code to unlock all playable characters, including Starscream. Enter "0203152C E3A00001" on the first line of the cheat code, followed by "02031530 E8BD8038" on the second line.
