How to Get Blue Orbs in 'Assassin's Creed' on the DS

The Nintendo DS version of "Assassin's Creed" uses a series of blue orbs as money in the game. You get blue orbs throughout your travels and for completing various tasks. The orbs can then be exchanged for goods and services throughout the game's levels. If you're got your eye on a particular item and don't have the currency to cover it, you can find blue orbs in a few different ways.

Instructions

    • 1

Kill all enemies that you come across. Killing an enemy in "Assassin's Creed" will often result in that enemy exploding into a series of blue orbs. Run across the blue orbs to pick them up and add them to your inventory. Certain enemies may also drop blue orbs during battle for you to pick up and use as currency.

    • 2

Complete puzzles and levels. You will come across both situations a number of times in "Assassin's Creed." Often, both the successful completion of a puzzle and seeing a level through to its end will result in a monetary bonus in the form of blue orbs.

    • 3

Sell items that you don't use anymore. Throughout the game, you will find new weapons and equipment during battle, in certain areas, in boxes and in other types of situations. When you reach the next shop, sell all of the equipment that you don't use any longer for more blue orbs.

    • 4

Break open crates, chests, boxes and other types of objects to find blue orbs. The orbs are hidden throughout these types of objects in many levels of the game, so if you come across one, open it to see what's inside.
