How to Get an Umbreon in Diamond

"Pokemon: Diamond" is video game which emphasizes collection and combat. Players can battle and capture hundreds of species of Pokemon. By training and taking care of them, the player can then help the Pokemon evolve into new forms. The Umbreon is a Pokemon which players cannot find and capture. However, they can evolve it from an Eevee, which the player can capture after beating the main quest. Eevees have the potential to evolve into seven different species. To get to a Pokemon to evolve into an Umbreon, the player has to go through a lengthy, but straightforward, process of improving its happiness.

  Proceed through the game until you get the National Dex. Once you have the National Dex, you unlock dozens of new features, including the ability to get an Eevee.

  Travel to Hearthome City, which is east on Route 208, west on Route 209 and north on Route 212.

  Speak with Bebe, who lives in the home next to the Hearthome Pokemon Center. She'll give you an Eevee.

  Head south to Route 212. Enter the Pokemon Mansion. Speak with the maid on the second floor to get the Soothe Bell. Equip the Soothe Bell to your Eevee. This will double the rate at which it gains happiness.

  Walk around. Every 256 squares you move, your Eevee gains two points of happiness. Once its happiness is at 220, it will evolve into an Umbreon.
