How to Catch Delibird in Pokemon Diamond

"Pokemon Diamond" is the fourth generation of Pokemon games which has 493 different beasts to capture and collect. One of the more elusive monsters in the game is known as a Delibird, which is a red penguin categorized as a dual Ice- and Flying-type Pokemon. While it is not the most powerful creature, it is needed by Pokemon aficionados who want to complete their National Pokedex after defeating the Elite Four.

Instructions

- 1
  Beat the Elite Four. This is a necessary prerequisite for getting the National Pokedex.

  Fly to Sandgem Town and speak to Dawn's little sister. She will inform you about Pokemon swarming at specifics routes on that particular day. Alternatively, you can also look at the TV to find out that same information.

  Check back every day with either Dawn's little sister or the TV until you learn that Delibird is the swarming Pokemon for that day. Head to Route 216.

  Wander around the grassy areas of Route 216 until you encounter a Delibird. Attack it with any moves that won't kill it in a single hit. False Swipe will work the best in this instance, since this ability will damage and leave the opponent with at least one hit-point.
- 5
  Throw Ultraballs at the weakened Delibird until it is captured.
