How to Make Giratina Change Forms in Pokemon Diamond

In "Pokemon Platinum" you can catch the ghost dragon type Pokemon Giritina. Giritina is first encountered in "Pokemon Diamond" and "Pokemon Pearl" in its altered form. In the "Distortion World" of Diamond Giritina can be seen in its "Origin" form. The two forms, the altered and the origin form have different abilities. Giritina's Origin form has "Levitate", whereas in its altered for its ability is "Pressure." Get the Griseas orb and attach to it to Giritina to change its form.

     Defeat the "Elite Four" in Pokemon Platinum.

     Go onto "Cycling Road" in "Route 16" to encounter the "Dark Trinity", who are members of N's squad.

   • 3

     Speak to the "Dark Trinity." They will give you three orbs; the Adamant Ob, the Lustrous Orb and the Griseous Orb. Attach the Grisous orb to Giratina. The Pokemon will change into its Origin Form.
