How to Become a Munchlax on Pokemon Mystery Dungeon

"Pokemon Mystery Dungeons: Time and Darkness" is a Nintendo DS game in the Pokemon series. Your Pokemon is selected for you at the beginning of the game using a series of questions. If you want a specific character, such as Munchlax, you must understand how to answer these questions properly. Unlike other Pokemon games, all character types are available whether you pick a female character or a male character. This helps make the gender you choose for your character meaningless to getting your Pokemon.

Instructions

  Understand the nature of Munchlax before you begin taking the game-beginning Pokemon selection quiz. Munchlax is a relaxed character with a jolly disposition. There are hundreds of possible questions to be asked and only 16 will be asked.

  Begin the game and start answering the questions, choosing answers you believe reflect a jolly or relaxed nature. For example, one of the questions reads "A fortune teller says that you have a bad future ahead of you. How do you react?" Answer the question with "Forget about it!" to indicate a more jolly, relaxed nature.

  Complete the quiz to see what Pokemon you have earned. Save the game and continue if you have earned Munchlax.

  Turn off the game and restart if you do not get Munchlax. You may not have gotten questions from which you could earn enough jolly or relaxed points. Retry with new questions until you earn him.
