How to Turn Giratina Into Its Original Form in Pokemon

Giratina is one of the three legendary Pokemons that served as mascot characters for the Generation IV games. It is catchable in "Pokemon Platinum" in the Distortion World in its Origin Forme as part of the game's storyline, but reverts to its Altered Forme once the player leaves the Distortion World. It is possible for Giratina to retain its Origin Forme outside of the Distortion World but to do this, the player must equip it with the Griseous Orb. This item can be found through the Turnback Cave in "Pokemon Platinum" once the player has defeated the Elite 4 the first time.

     Head to Route 214 and take the detour of Spring Path to access Sendoff Spring.

     Head to the center of Sendoff Spring to access Turnback Cave. Go through Turnback Cave until reaching the spot where Giratina was located in "Pokemon Diamond" and "Pokemon Pear.l" and come to the entrance of the Distortion World. Continue through the Distortion World to acquire the Griseous Orb.

     Equip the Griseous Orb on Giratina for it to be in its Origin Forme outside of the Distortion World.
