How to Get Rampardos in Diamond

In the Nintendo DS video game "Pokemon Diamond," Rampardos is a powerful Rock-type Pokemon. It cannot be found in the wild, but you can get one for your collection through a more indirect method. By mining underground using the Explore Kit, you can unearth Fossils, which can then be revived into Pokemon in the Oreburgh Town Museum. A Skull Fossil can be revived into the Pokemon Cranidos, and when Cranidos reaches Level 30, it evolves into Rampardos.

Instructions

    • 1

Go Eterna City in the north of the Sinnoh region and talk to the man next to the Pokemon Center. He will give you an Explore Kit which allows you to go underground, and explain how to do Excavation.

    • 2

Use the Explore Kit to go underground and play the Excavation mini-game until you get a Skull Fossil.

    • 3

Return to the surface and go south on Route 206 to Oreburgh Town.

    • 4

Go to the Museum in Oreburgh and talk to the Professor inside. He will tell you all about Fossils and take the one you excavated earlier.

    • 5

Leave the Museum, then go back in.

    • 6

Talk to the Professor and he will give you a Pokemon, a Level 20 Cranidos.

    • 7

Add Cranidos to your traveling party of Pokemon and use it in battles to gain experience points. Give it the "Exp. Share" item to hold and it will gain experience points even if it doesn't fight in a battle.

    • 8

Gain experience with Cranidos until it reaches Level 30 and it will automatically evolve into Rampardos.
