How to Get Uniforms on MGS: Peace Walker

"Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker" is an entry in the "Metal Gear Solid" saga of video games designed specifically for the Sony PSP. Throughout the game, your character will wear different uniforms based on the situation, similar to the game "Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots." If you want to get new uniforms for your character you can do so in a couple of ways.

  Complete all the missions in the game. Many of the uniforms you unlock throughout the game are granted as rewards for completing the game's levels. For example, the "Naked Snake" uniform is given as a reward for completing Mission 11. Once you complete a mission, the uniform is automatically added to your in-game inventory list.

  Finish all the boss battles in the game. Uniforms that are not given as rewards for finishing regular levels are given to you once you defeat the various bosses throughout the game. For example, the "Sneaking Suit" uniform is granted as a reward once you complete the "Attack Helicopter" boss battle at the end of Mission 12. Once you defeat a particular boss your uniform reward is added to your inventory.

  Search through all aspects of a level, including areas where your character isn't required to go. Many of the levels in "Peace Walker" feature areas that you are not required to pass through to finish the game. However, these portions of levels also contain secrets that can be unlocked, like additional uniforms. For example, the "Desert Auscam" uniform can be found by searching through the Aldea Los Despiertos area of the eighth level of the game.
