How to Get the Key to Get Into the Galactic Hideout in Veilstone in Pokemon Platinum

Team Galactic are the main enemies in the Nintendo DS video game "Pokemon Platinum." Team Galactic have several bases and headquarters, and the main one is in Veilstone City. In order to gain entry to the Galactic Hideout in Veilstone, you need to get the Galactic Key, which is inside the warehouse to the right of the main hideout. You will have to battle several Galactic Grunt trainers along the way -- all of them use Poison/Rock-type Pokemon, which you can beat with Water, Fighting and Bug-type Pokemon.

  Go to Lake Acuity in the far north of the Sinnoh region.

  Talk to Jupiter, the Team Galactic leader, who has just beaten your rival trainer. Jupiter will tell you that Team Galactic have moved their HQ to Veilstone City.

  Head to Veilstone City in the east of Sinnoh -- the fastest way is to use a Pokemon's "Fly" move.

  Go to the Galactic Warehouse on the eastern side of town and talk to the Galactic Grunt guarding the door. After some dialogue you'll get the warehouse key.

  Head into the Galactic Warehouse and go right. Go up the stairs to the "1F1" level. Go south and you'll come to a set of warp panels -- use the left one, and go up the stairs at the other end to get to "2FL."

  Go left and use the warp panel. Go down two flights of stairs and turn left. Pick up the item ball at the end of the room -- this is the Galactic Key.

  Open the shutters with the Galactic Key and leave the warehouse. Go to the front of the Galactic Hideout and the Key will open the doors.
